We believe that for our operation to provide the very best of care possible for the great horses we love and the best of service available to the wonderful public that we serve, it MUST be powered by excellent, dedicated and professional personnel committed to TEAMWORK!
Many people make up our team here at BPS.
- Blue Point Stables Owner, CEO & Master Riding Instructor is Brandy McDonnell. She does not work alone!
- Our Business Manager/First Aid & Safety Coordinator is David Stooksbury. He does not work alone!.
- Additionally, Blue Point Stables operates by the assistance of MANY excellent, horse loving volunteers and paid associates that are crucial to our operation at BPS. They do not work alone!
- All of our Very Valued Boarding Clients, Training Clients, Lesson Customers, Dedicated Horse Campers, various Constituents and Supporters from a variety of the World's arenas; make everything we offer and do possible. With all the outside advertising that we try to do, nothing compares to the "word-of-mouth" business that is brought to us because of the efforts of these great and wonderful people. We work for, and often times, side by side, with them. They not only are some of the BEST on our TEAM, but have proven time and time again, that they do not support us alone. Most love to function as part of our TEAM.
- Even our Friendly competition often sends business our way, as we try to reciprocate when it just simply seems to make more sense.

Brandy McDonnell has been involved with horses for over 25 years. Her love of horses drove her to choose a career in the horse industry. The early part of Brandy’s career was spent on the AQHA (American Quarter Horse Association) show circuit. She has shown countless horses, earning over 500 AQHA pts., several World Champions and she has been awarded the coveted AQHA Professional Horseman Award for Tennessee from AQHA and the TQHA (Tennessee Quarter Horse Association).Today, Brandy focuses her career on teaching. Her students are young and old, beginners and advanced riders. She loves the thrill of seeing a horse and rider come together as a team!
Business Manager/Safety Coordinator
David Stooksbury is a passionate devotee, to the horse world. David is a member of the AQHA and purchased his second horse in the fall of 2010 (his first being may years earlier when he was in his late teens) and has been in love with all horses ever since. David started into the business world at the young age of nine by starting and building his own lawn care venture. Since that time David has started, owned and managed several successful enterprises. Additionally, David brings 20 years of professional fire/rescue and EMT service experience to BPS. This makes him the perfect choice as our first aid and safety coordinator! We're encouraged with the directions that David is nudging us, as he strives to enhance our operation. One of David's personal goals to insure that our Client's stay and visit is a much enjoyed experience. David believes that we have met our daily success goals when at the end of the day, every one that had visited us here at BPS, has left with a satisfied smile on their faces.
