Brandy McDonnell is the heart of BPS. She has dedicated her life to the equine industry. She has been a professional Horseman for over 35 years. Her teaching and training philosophy centers around positive reinforcement. Going hand in hand with that philosophy is the idea horses and riders both learn more in a safe and fun environment.
Brandy spent the early part of her career training, showing and coaching national and world level horses and riders. In 2007 she stepped away from the training and showing side of the industry to raise her infant daughter.
Today Brandy focuses on the grass roots of the horse industry. Providing an environment for people, young and old to learn to ride. Many of her students learn the thrills, trials and tribulations of competition at local horse shows on the wonderful lesson horses of Blue Point Stables.
“While competition has been a big part of her career, teaching riders how to understand and communicate with horses is her greatest achievement.”
